A Community to Call Home
GlenRiddle Community Association is where history was made. The notoriety and prestige of the GlenRiddle Farm reaches back to the early 1900's. For years, Samuel D. Riddle entertained America's elite with lavish parties, sporting games and boating excursions. His prized GlenRiddle Farm was also the home and training ground of horse racing legends Man O' War and War Admiral.
Some of the amenities of our property include two championship golf courses, a 96 slip marina, and lit tennis courts for evening play. At the heart of our beautiful community is the state-of-the-art private Owner's Community Center featuring an outdoor pool, fitness center, sports lounge, and other amenities to balance your life.
Stop by the community center to meet the staff and take a tour!
An Association is a not-for-profit organization of owners formed for the purpose of maintaining the common areas. An Association was formed when the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions was recorded. You became a member of the Association the day you closed on your new home.
GlenRiddle Community Association provides community leadership, architectural control, covenant enforcement, community events, accounting and finance, operation and maintenance of recreation facilities.
Ways to Get Involved
We believe that there’s a place for everyone to get involved in our community, whether you’re interested in leading as a board member, helping out on a committee or just getting to know your neighbors. Taking the time to get invested in where you live allows you to put down roots, serve the community and build lasting friendships with people nearby. If you’re not sure where to start, visit our Groups and Committees page to find activities you can participate in with neighbors who share your interests.
Benefits of Living in a Community
There are several reasons the number of community associations has exploded from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands over the decades. The benefits our homeowners enjoy most are:
- Maintained Property Values. According to the Community Associations Institute, homes in managed communities are often worth 5 percent more than those in traditional communities.
- Amenities and Services. Our homeowners receive value in return for their choice to invest in a homeowners association.
- Sense of Community. Our community is a place to connect in a world that is increasingly disconnected.
